I just want to say that Mark is a very special person. A man who built a huge community that just raised over $200,000 on their own in just under 12 hours.

A community that raised 200k without getting a single thing in return.

That’s what I think is the most amazing part, that not only did we obliterate the previous record for amount raised during a stream, but we did it on a non-merch charity.

Everything we gave, we gave because of the cause and the cause alone. That’s special. That’s really special.

And this was all possible because of Mark and his team.

Mark has a certain talent for always bringing the light. To instill happiness, laughter, and kindness. His undying optimism and hope and kindness are so powerful, it just seems to radiate out to us. To bleed into us and encourage us to be better people. And the most special thing about this is that it feels so genuine. His compass and love for what he does, for us, for the world is so real and so big and so utterly infectious. And that’s what I love about him. That is why he will always be a very big inspiration for me, because every time I see him, I want to be more like him. I want that passion and that hope. I want to not only believe with all my heart the world can be made a better place, I want to do it. I want to be apart of those changes and to do good things.

Markiplier is a very special person with a very special voice. And there is no one on this earth who I would rather stand with during these trying times.

I’ve often heard it said that hate breeds hate. But over the years of being apart of this community, I’ve seen proof that love breeds love. And you have no idea how unbelievably heartwarming that is.

Today we have just proven that in a world filled to the brim with hate, compassion and kindness still thrive. We’ve done good things today, all of us.

So thank you, Mark, for every second of every video. For all of the hard work you do. For every livestream that resulted in every cent that’s ever been donated. For not giving up, all those years ago when your first channel went array. For every moment where you’ve inspired and helped us to grow.

And thank you to everyone else that help make these amazing videos and for these wonderful opportunities to happen. Thank you Ethan, thank you Tyler, thank you Amy and Kathryn, and anyone else I may not know about. And thank you to every other fan.

All of the good that we have done over the years have only been possible because of you, Mark. Thank you so much for the opportunity to come along on the journey with you and the wonderful team you have.

I look forward to the future, because I know that things can only get better. This is a community I am proud to be apart of, and I am proud of how far you yourself have come, Mark.
